In 1817, wigmaker A.C. Bang was commissioned by the Danish king, Federich VI, to design and make the coronation coat. That prestigious order marked the beginning of a great career and a long tradition of craftsmanship and artistic skill at A.C.BANG.
In 1974, A.C.BANG of Copenhagen, the parent company, opened a luxurious boutique in Zurich, at Bahnhofstrasse 1. The boutique provided a superb setting for the company’s exclusive, high-end fur garments.
Anja Essellier, the Director, has successfully managed A.C.BANG for decades, combining fashion talent with international flair.
Fur has been overlooked for years, but has recently made a triumphant comeback. The versatility and flexibility of fur, as well as innovations in processing techniques, have restored its reputation as the material of which dreams are made.
A.C.BANG in Zurich is one of the world’s premier fur fashion houses with many prestigious designer names amongst its collections.
